On this page
The kitchen display replaces paper tickets. Orders from the app, the web storefront, the POS and the phone arrive the moment they're placed, with a chime.
Open it from Kitchen Display in the sidebar.
The lanes
Tickets move left to right through three lanes. All shows every lane at once.
| Lane | What it holds |
|---|---|
| New | Orders waiting to be accepted. |
| Queued | Accepted, not started yet. |
| Cooking | Being prepared now. |
Working a ticket
- On a New ticket, press Accept. If the customer's online payment hasn't gone through yet, the button reads Awaiting payment and stays disabled.
- On a Queued ticket, press ▶ Start when cooking begins.
- When it's done, press ✓ Ready.
Reading the timers
Each ticket shows how long it has been waiting:
- Amber after 10 minutes.
- Red, pulsing after 20 minutes.
Useful tools
All-day
All-day opens a side panel that adds up every item across the open tickets — so the grill sees "12 burgers" rather than counting ticket by ticket.
Recall
Bumped a ticket by mistake? Recall lists tickets finished in the last 30 minutes and puts the one you choose back into Cooking. A ticket can't be recalled once a rider has picked up the order.
Cancelled orders
If a customer cancels, the ticket shows Cancelled — stop preparing for 10 minutes so nobody keeps cooking it.
Set up the screen
Use the screen controls to fit your kitchen:
- Full screen — hide everything but the tickets.
- Text size — larger text for screens further away.
- Show both languages — item names in Arabic and English.
- Mute — silence the chime.
These settings, and the branch you chose, are remembered on that device, so each kitchen screen keeps its own setup.
